Beginners Raw Chocolate Workshop

A Delicious and Fun Festive Raw Chocolate Making Workshop with Maria and Ashley

 
All the chocolate we will be creating is vegan and contains no refined sugar. This is a very hands on workshop and you will learn how to make some lovely silky raw chocolate and some tasty chocolatey truffles with a possibility of many different flavours including:
Plain
Salted Caramel
Mint
Wild Orange and Geranium
Lime and Chili
Cardamon and Coffee
Festive Mulled Spice
 
We’ll use very high quality ORGANIC ingredients with a base of cacao butter and sweetened with fruit concentrate syrup, and also doTERRA oils to flavour the chocolates (which are unbeatable in quality). You will walk away with a smile on your face plus beautifully packaged and bespoke chocolates you can keep or gift away with a retail value of £22.
 
We will also have some very pure but inexpensive cacao butter and products to purchase on the workshop should you wish to try out your new skills at home.
 
You only need to bring yourself and an apron!

SELF LOVE GATHERING WITH BEAUTIFUL TOOLS TO CREATE EMOTIONAL VIBRANCY and GOOD SELF ESTEEM.

Join us on this powerful Autumn Equinox to immerse into peace and wellbeing. We will be sharing meditation, breathing techniques and essential oil ‘tools’ for you to reconnect with and nurture yourself.
When it comes to our emotions and thoughts, by cultivating care and love for ourselves we can transform the way we think, feel and respond to life pressures and extremes. By cultivating care and love, we build our courage and resilience to life. Our world around us does not actively support this and so we have this opportunity to build these self-love practices into our culture and lives.

In our peaceful and nurturing gathering we will:
* Experience deity meditation, using breathing techniques and essential oils to produce ‘calm’ and ‘grounded’ hormones (brain chemistry).
* Feel almost an immediate DE-STRESSing of our body’s chemistry, and lowering our cortisol level (cortisol being a premature aging stress hormone).
* Understand together how the power of NO is a wonderful self-love tool and how our YES’s have become worthless in our society because of our cultural lack of boundaries.
* Learn about the powerful oils to use when RE-CREATING healthier ways to think with affirmations (creating a healthier ‘brain road map’).
* Learn what we need to generate a good nights SLEEP.
* HOW TO apply and blend the highest quality essential oils in our daily rhythms to support our hormonal fluctuations and emotional extremes.

The oils we will be using are doTERRA, their potency and quality taking essential oils into a whole new realm for emotional, spiritual and physical healing.
About the host: Maria has been holding wellness circles and facilitating growth with individuals 1-2-1 and in groups for 20 years with a passion for empowering and connecting people back to their hearts.

How does Our Government Work?

We know big changes are needed on our island to prepare for the climate crisis years we are in. To be engaged with this fully, we need a comprehensive understanding of how our governing body works in Jersey.
 
Following a conversation thread in the Extinction Rebellion Jersey group here on facebook, to which many people attested ignorance and confusion in fully understanding our governing system, we have created an event to help gather and educate ANYONE who wishes to turn up and learn.
 
We are very grateful to Senator Sam Mezec, who has accepted our invitation to explain the system and answer any questions that you all may have at the end, and also to Constable Simon Crowcroft for supporting our needs as a community.
