Erich and Barbara, the pioneers of Autarca Permaculture Project in La Palma, Canary Islands are true lovers of life. They have travelled far and learnt that you cannot destroy one part of nature without another being in consequence. They truly live by and embody daily the understanding that ALL IS CONNECTED. Their mission in their project is to re-educate and to help awaken us from our apathy.  Their life’s journey has led them to creating an outstanding home and blossoming testament to nature.

Nurturing Our Divine Feminine

bonniesmallWe have planned a beautiful day, just for us women, journeying and diving into the healing depths of Restorative Yoga, Sound Practices and Soul Movement to really connect with and nurture our long neglected inner divine feminine natures.

The day will be facilitated by Julie Kent​ and Maria Barnicoat​. 

Maria has been holding sacred spaces through SOUL Movement Jersey​ classes, Womens Full Moon Dances, and her own individual one on one individual therapeutic work that she offers through Earth Beauty​.

Julie has been teaching many different styles of yoga for the past 9 years.  She incorporates the science of Yoga and Chakra Yoga and specialises in assisting people to heal from dis-ease.

It seems that we are getting wiser.  Although its unlikely if you go into a doctors surgery complaining of chronic digestive issues, energy lapses, headaches and skin issues, that they will advise you seek out a specialist who tests food intolerances, current statistics say that over 45% of our population have become intolerant to one or more foods in their diets! Moving into a New Rite of Passage for the Feminine

This feels by far like my greatest rite of passage yet.  The journey to motherhood! Pregnancy! An exhilarating, intensely vulnerable roller-coaster gestation period where I have found strength and incredible support from my soul sisters around me.  The world will never be the same and sometimes I am just overwhelmed by this blessing of life.  I must be ready! But some days I am kicking and screaming as I wrestle with my inner pixie who just doesn’t want to grow up and claim her full power and responsibility as a woman.  38 years of only taking care of myself, and a few furry friends along the way have created and affirmed a selfishness of my life and all my own childhood nuances and fears leaping out of the cupboard to taunt me and tell me of the shadows of childhood/motherhood.  Supportive, warm beings whispering in my ears of what a wonderful mother I will be only slightly lessens the fear of the harm that could come from projecting my crap onto this divine little being.  I feeling the heightened sensitivity to all noises, smells, our patriarchal focused world … and again I dive into the deep dark reflective well that I know so dear, craving for a matriarchal, flourishing community of life around me.  How can I bring this little being authentically into a world that I know is madness? There is nothing like this before that has shown me that now is the time to carve out the dreams that have been lingering in my heart, now is the time to plant the seeds to really create a future living integrally and in tune with nature and the ancient wise ways! Such a blessing to receive this gift!! I already feel the mama energy in me and wow … its quite incredible!

Dancing with the archetype ‘The Fool’

the foolOn ‘All Fools Day’ we are joining together for our monthly Soul Movement class to connect with and embody the archetypal energy of ‘The Fool’ within ourselves.

Known in the traditional tarot deck, the Fool represent unlimited potential in us all. He trusts blindly that he has all the tools and resources he needs for every possible encounter.  His guardian, his dog is his protector and encourages him into learning the lessons he came here to learn. He is on a lifelong journey to fully express his wild and free spirit.

When we are feeling the positive energy in us, we are trusting and embracing of new beginnings.  He dares to take leaps of faith to take him into higher areas of personal growth and new adventures. He lives free of worry and anxiety of what is ahead.

Within the sacred dancespace of Soul Movement we will journey and experience our inner Fool, through movement, visualisations and intentions. This is a potent space to reconnect to the innate trust in life that we came here to the earth with.

Bring: water, blanket and wear comfy layers.

Everyone is invited, the evening is facilitated clearly and newbies are very welcome as you don’t need any experience.
